low red moon

Just some things that I bought recently! The photo album was much needed after I left my Japan photos to collect dust, so I was quite happy when kikki.K actually had it in stock :) So apart from shopping, here's what I've been up to:
  • Going to school
  • Dying from early starts and late finishes
  • Having my first driving lesson (three months after getting my license...)
  • Cursing Sydney's bipolar weather
... and that's about it. Sadly, school doesn't lend many opportunities to go out and take photos, but at least summer's coming up soon? Yay for longer days and no more stockings! And nay, for uncomfortable heat and sun rays! Really, long ago I realised I can't win against the weather so there's no point trying. Have a good weekend or what's left of it, everyone!

Just some photos from an outing with my jap class buddies! Never mind the fact it was three weeks ago, but I guess things are better left late than never, right? Sadly the barbecues weren't working when we went, but our group ordered so much that we probably would've exploded if we had the option... It was also my first time trying kimchi, and I'm basically a wimp concerning food that's even remotely hot or spicy. This is coming from a girl who's meant to have grown up on Lao-Thai food too, how sad... HAHA.

Of course, someone had to bring a calculator and that made me laugh for some weird reason... Anyway, I hope everyone's having a better weekend than me! I have a ton of homework to catch up on now that I have school again, so over and out.

Am I alone when I say that I can't wait for this year to end? To be honest, 2011's been horrid in more ways than one, and I need a fresh start already. Anyway, yesterday Frankie's 2012 diary came in the mail thanks to the Nation State, so that doesn't exactly help my cause... I'm dying to use it already! For those that are looking, you can order the diary here. (By the way, the weird origami Santa isn't included...)

In other news, did I mention that my family got new birds? Well, being an idiot my sister let our old one fly away. I think my parents were more sad about it than any of my siblings... Anyway, they're lovebirds and we don't know their genders, hence they are currently nameless. I don't think they particularly like us yet, so do any bird experts have tips for playing with them or something? This is why I'll never have a pet of my own accord...
